Manchin and Capito Announce More than 390,000 for Pendleton Community Care

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito announced $390,016 in federal funding for Pendleton Community Care in Franklin, West Virginia.  The funding will be used to help the local health center improve access and care to residents.

“Pendleton Community Care is such an important facility that helps West Virginia families who are living in our rural areas access to reliable, quality health care,” Senator Manchin said. “This funding will support the local health care jobs in Pendleton County, help update and improve the facility and make sure that West Virginians receive excellent preventive and primary care to keep them healthy.”

“This funding will be a big help to Pendleton Community Care and those in Franklin and surrounding areas who rely on the health center’s services. Ensuring West Virginians in rural areas have access to quality care is very important to the well-being of our state,” said Senator Capito.

The federal funding was awarded through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration.
