Manchin Applauds Reopening of Greenbrier County Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin issued the following statement on the announcement that the Veterans Affairs Greenbrier County Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Maxwelton will reopen on Friday, February 27 at 8 a.m.

According to the Beckley VA Medical Center, veterans will be contacted to confirm their appointments at the clinic. They can also contact the clinic at 304-497-3900 beginning Thursday, February 26 with questions or to schedule an appointment.

“I am so pleased that the Greenbrier County CBOC will reopen its doors to our veterans in the area,” Senator Manchin said. “The nearly 2,000 veterans from Greenbrier, Monroe, Pocahontas and Summers counties can now regain access to the medical care and services they need without inconveniently traveling long distances to other VA locations. Reopening the CBOC after it has been safely retested is great news for the community, ensuring that accessible treatment and care is readily available to our veterans.”
