Process Control Technician,CRS-SPV-Ravenswood

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and operate the Processing Unit to meet the demands of the CUSTOMER.
  • Maintain 24 hours on-call duty, seven days a week except during scheduled vacations. Vacation relief technician will be provided.
  • Sign all secrecy and confidentially agreements requested by company.
  • Plan, schedule and perform or have performed all maintenance needed to maintain Processing Unit equipment in a safe and efficient operating condition.
  • Program system computers for different fluid condition and quality objectives.
  • Perform all laboratory tests necessary to provide a quality product and maintain the specification designated by the customer.
  • Record and report daily all production, quality, lab and operating data.
  • Order and maintain sufficient spare parts for reliable operation of the processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and solve all operation problems as it relates to quality, process equipment, controls, electrical and computer.
  • Maintain good communication with designated customer representatives.
  • Perform required inspections and tests of processing equipment.
  • Provide information for reports as required for local, state and federal authorities as required.
  • Supervise all outside contractors hired to perform work on equipment provided by CRS or modified for use in the Processing Unit.
  • Attend CRS and customer training seminars as designated. Any training requiring travel away from the CUSTOMER's immediate area will receive a suitable replacement from CRS during those periods.
  • Provide guidance, as required, to customer as needed to improve operations.
  • Maintain a high level of technical competence in mechanical, electrical, control, computer, environmental and OSHA fields.
  • Perform other specific tasks that can be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • 2 year technical degree minimum, graduate engineer preferred or a minimum of 5 years related experience.
