Manchin and Capito Announce More Than $2.9 Million for West Virginia Healthcare Services

Washington, D.C. – Today U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will award $2,978,843 to the Clay Battelle Health Services Association and Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers, Inc. This funding will support these organizations and their efforts to expand comprehensive health services and coordinate care among patients.

“I am thrilled to see this funding head to Clay, Preston and Taylor counties,” Senator Manchin said. “Ensuring every West Virginian has access to quality healthcare has always been one of my top priorities. I will continue to fight to ensure every community has well equipped community health services, especially our state’s most rural communities.”
