Manchin Applauds Infor's Announcement Of New Location In Charleston

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is pleased with Infor’s announcement that they will be opening a new location in Charleston, West Virginia. Infor is a global technology company that develops cloud-based solutions for federal, state, and local government agencies. Infor’s new Charleston location will create more than one hundred jobs for West Virginians and they will partner with Marshall University and West Virginia State University to provide jobs to recent and future graduates.

“I am thrilled that Infor has chosen to locate a regional office in Charleston, bringing with it more than a hundred new good paying tech jobs to the state. Strengthening and diversifying West Virginia’s economy is one of my highest priorities in the United States Senate and today’s announcement continues to grow the emerging technology sector in our state with an industry leader. I’m pleased to have had the opportunity to meet with Infor CEO Charles Phillips and his team on a number of occasions over the last year to discuss our skilled workforce and solidify the positive value of doing business in the Mountain State. I welcome Infor to West Virginia and I’m certain they’ll have a successful future here,” said Senator Manchin.
