Manchin Statement on Shooting in Tel Aviv

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) today released the following statement on the tragic shooting in Tel Aviv, Israel:

“I am deeply saddened to hear of the tragic shooting in Tel Aviv which took the lives of three Israelis and wounded several others.  I strongly condemn what appears to be another terrorist attack on one of our greatest allies, Israel. The cowardly act performed today is a reminder that the free world continues to face terrorism and we must be willing to speak out against these atrocities and stand together with our friends. No one faces these threats more often and with more bravery and resolve than the people of Israel. In this difficult time, I join my fellow West Virginians in offering prayers for the victims and families.”
