Manchin Votes to Confirm Linda McMahon to Lead Small Business Administration
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) released the following statement on his vote to confirm Linda McMahon to lead the Small Business Administration (SBA).
“Today I voted to confirm Linda McMahon to lead the Small Business Administration. As a former Governor, I understand how crucial it is for an executive leader to have the chance to put his team in place. With over 120,000 small businesses making up 96 percent of our employers in West Virginia, the SBA is crucial in helping these businesses and our economy grow. I look forward to working with Mrs. McMahon to improve the lives of West Virginians and create new economic opportunities in our state and across the country, and I invite her to the Mountain State to visit.”
