May 16: Manchin Invites West Virginians To Join Him For ‘Wednesday Wake-Up With Joe’

Weekly coffee hour will be held in Manchin’s Washington office

All West Virginians are invited to attend

Washington, D.C. – Building off of the success of numerous constituent outreach initiatives he has started since taking office, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) today announced the launch of a new weekly coffee hour called “Wednesday Wake-Up with Joe.” All West Virginians are invited to attend these morning get-togethers, which will be held in Senator Manchin’s Washington office every Wednesday that the Senate is in session.

“I am so excited about this new opportunity to connect with the fine people of West Virginia,” Senator Manchin said. “West Virginians know there is no place I’d rather be than home, but when I am in Washington, I am always so pleased to meet fellow West Virginians who are in the nation’s capital for work or just for fun. So starting next week, I’ll be hosting ‘Wednesday Wake-Up with Joe,’ a time for West Virginians to come to my office in Washington for a casual visit over coffee. The doors to all of my offices – in Washington, Charleston, Martinsburg, and Morgantown – are always open. However, these Wednesday morning open houses will serve as a special time each week for me to visit with constituents.”

Senator Manchin’s first “Wednesday Wake-Up With Joe” event is scheduled for 10 a.m. on May 16 in 303 Hart Senate Office Building. Each week, Senator Manchin and his staff will be on hand to listen directly to the West Virginians who are in attendance.

Directions to the Senator’s office can be found here.
