Monday: Manchin to Speak at the Princeton Fire Department’s 100Th Anniversary Celebration

Will also visit McDowell and Wyoming County Courthouses to discuss ‘Rebuilding America’

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) will deliver remarks Monday at the Princeton Fire Department’s 100th Anniversary Celebration and visit the McDowell and Wyoming County Courthouses.

“I am honored to be taking part in a celebration of the tremendous work of our first responders in Princeton, and the mark they have made on this community over the past century,” Senator Manchin said. “My experience working with the volunteer rescue squad in Marion County has allowed me to appreciate firsthand the hard work our firefighters do every day, as well as the sacrifices they make to keep our communities and our families safe. I want to thank the hardworking men and women of our fire department here in Princeton and departments across West Virginia for their dedication to our great state.”

At the courthouses, Senator Manchin will continue to speak to West Virginians about rebuilding America. Over the past several weeks, Senator Manchin has traveled to 20 counties in West Virginia on his “Rebuild America” tour. He heard time and again from West Virginians that Washington needs to focus on American jobs, strengthen the economy, reduce unnecessary regulations and reform the tax code.

“I hope residents will join me at the McDowell and Wyoming County courthouses to discuss their commonsense concerns, priorities and ideas for how we can boost job growth and create the type of economic certainty that West Virginians need and deserve.”
