Manchin Lauds Amazon's Planned Expansion in Huntington

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) made the following comments after Amazon’s announcement that it will build a new 70,000-square-foot customer service center at Kinetic Park in Huntington, creating about 200 full-time jobs in the next few years.

As part of “Commonsense Solutions” Week, which Senator Manchin launched yesterday, the Senator spent today meeting with local officials, law enforcement, business leaders, and students in Huntington.

“Two hundred West Virginians will have good jobs because Amazon.com recognized that our state is truly the best place in the country to do business. I am so proud that Amazon.com has been an excellent partner with our state and I hope to continue our productive relationship for many years to come,” Senator Manchin said.
