Manchin Votes to Repeal Onerous 1099 Provision, Applauds Bipartisan Effort

Washington, D.C. - As the lead Democrat on a measure to repeal part of the health care law, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) voted today in favor of that bill, which will eliminate the onerous 1099 mandate of the new health care law that would require businesses, charities and churches to file an IRS form for any transaction greater than $600.
